On January 6, 2026 (Pacific Time), CES 2026 kicked off in Las Vegas. BOE showed up strong with more than 60 display and IoT products, including some big world-firsts like the HERO 2.0 Smart Cockpit. It really shows how much ground they've covered in car screens, AI integration, and eco stuff.

It's also the 10-year anniversary of BOE joining forces with BOE Jingdian (Varitronix). Putting together such a full booth overseas feels like they're seriously chasing the global market. They had solid chats with over 40 partners worldwide to team up better and push smart cars and green tech along.

Smart cockpits got a real upgrade - making the car feel different inside

Cars are way smarter now, focusing more on the experience, and BOE (the biggest seller of car displays globally in volume and size) is at the front, making cockpits more hands-on. After launching the HERO Plan overseas last year, they debuted HERO 2.0 Smart Cockpit at CES - with better visuals/sound, easier controls, and more practical uses.

It packs a ton of high-end features: the world's first Micro LED PHUD head-up display hitting 50,000 nits super bright; AI voice/gesture controls that handle complex stuff 98% accurately; a 15.6-inch UB Cell center screen with deep blacks and sharp contrast; a first-of-its-kind standalone car amp with AI sound cleanup for great audio; and fused CDR radio mixing FM/AM and HD up to 90dB - plus it works for high-quality audio/images without signal and has emergency features for disasters.

AI brings touch, voice, eye, and gesture controls together for a full "domain-controlled" cockpit. From the main screen you can drop the sunroof shade, order takeout, tweak AC, or check your pet tank at home - connecting car to home and shopping.

They also added a bright projector for big entertainment and a smart wood-grain desk for PPTs, seat massage, and switching between fun, chill, and work modes. It's tech that actually fits real life, turning the car into a comfy, useful, greener spot. HERO 2.0 isn't a small change - it's prepping for the next wave of smart driving.

Three main tech brands showing what they're capable of

The BOE booth got a full refresh with areas for their three key lines (ADS Pro, f-OLED, α-MLED), new uses, the HERO 2.0 cockpit, solutions, green items, and partner stuff - so you can really see and feel it all. BOE was early in China to create its own brands, and they highlighted the latest from each to support a more open, green, collaborative industry.

ADS Pro: Car screens with UB Cell and BD Cell tech - 15.6-inch dual screens for high contrast/low glare/wide colors, and double-layer LCD for true blacks and huge contrast with power-saving for premium cockpits.

f-OLED: World's first full-car OLED setup with curved/shaped screens that blend form and function. The star is the 17-inch OLED rollable - starts as a carry-around 9.5-inch tablet, unrolls to 17 inches for work or videos. Screens that adapt on the fly.

α-MLED: Their own tech for greener car displays - first COG glass P0.9 ultra-thin HDR Micro LED all-in-one with sharp pics, high brightness, slim build, no flicker, seamless joins. Flagship hits 20,000:1 contrast and 7680Hz refresh; also a 300,000 nits PHUD and hidden wood-grain display that stays visible in sun.

They also showed AI-blended products along the "AI helps display" idea - like the C100 all-in-one with strong multi-mode AI, world-first 3D ultrasonic fingerprint car key for quick/fatigue alerts, AI cycling glasses with camera/stabilization/headphones, and smart reptile/fish tanks with AI/AR for nice pet care.

Stronger partnerships and genuine green push for the long run

With displays spreading everywhere, IoT links smart life to green goals. BOE stuck to "tech + green" with IoT solutions for car/human scenarios and over 20 green products - their biggest ever. New tech plus teamwork is making sustainability happen.

news-1-1

BOE Jingdian had real talks with 40+ partners (luxury cars, auto suppliers, electronics giants) and showed 11 co-created items - like the HYPERIDE-R electric motorcycle with Keeway (AI glasses + smart dash), Navilink 228 Connect, and ART triple-screen systems. All prove display tech fits different platforms.

BOE's been on green for years - launched the first "ONE" sustainability brand and built eco into everything. At CES 2026, their 14.6-inch IGZO display cuts power/carbon 50%; 12.03-inch PHUD gains 25% efficiency (raw materials 62.72% of footprint). They keep refining low-power OLED/Oxide for quality, light, recyclable car screens. Smart energy + solar got them ISO energy/environment certs; Chengdu/Heyuan factories are provincial green. Full chain from factory to product creates a green car ecosystem and real "display + low-carbon" strength.

Going forward, BOE keeps "Display of Things" central - mixing display tech into more areas, partnering globally for fresh collaboration, and driving smarter displays/greener travel to something better and lasting.
