Nine Mistakes in Using LCD Splicing Screen

1: Eliminate some bad habits

The biggest bad habit is to often point fingers at the screen with your hands. The LCD splicing screen is very delicate. Don't touch the LCD splicing screen that costs several thousand yuan. Generally speaking, the LCD splicing screen is relatively light and accidentally knocked down, which is not a joke. Another thing to note is that the power consumption of the LCD splicing screen is relatively small, but the voltage of the transformer behind the LCD splicing screen is still very high; special attention should be paid to safety, and do not open the back cover of the LCD splicing screen when it is live. Even after power outage, the voltage remaining instantaneously is quite high, and the CFL transformer in the background lighting component still has a high voltage of about 1000V. In the LCD splicing screen, the only part that will be gradually consumed is the background lighting of the LCD splicing screen. After long-term use, you may find that the screen is no longer so bright or simply pitch black. This is not a serious problem. Just change to a new background light. Pay attention to the fact that for an extraordinary product such as LCD splicing screen, it is best not to deal with it by yourself. It is best to get it to a computer company or a special repair station for repair. In short, don't re-express the careless problem of using CRTLCD splicing screen on the LCD splicing screen.

2: Try to avoid the same picture for a long time

Like CRTLCD splicing screens, LCD splicing screens will also cause internal aging or burnout due to long-term work. What is particularly bad is that the same picture appears for a long time. If a fixed content is continuously displayed for a long time, it may cause some pixels to overheat, which will cause internal burnout and cause bad points. This damage is irreversible and cannot be repaired. Therefore, when using it, we should pay attention to: when you have nothing to do, turn off the LCD splicing screen; if you are just temporarily without anything to do, choose the screen saver. Or lower the brightness of the display screen a little, or make the screen completely white; however, this only protects the LCD, and the light tube behind it is still working, so I prefer to turn off the LCD splicing screen directly, and it is still the same.

3: It is best to use the recommended best resolution

If there is a DVI hijack on the graphics card directly output to the LCD digital hijack on the LCD, this new display method will have no pixel loss, and the signal output from the graphics card will be perfectly displayed. However, when displaying a picture with a smaller than the optimal resolution, LCD display adopts two ways to display. One is to display in the center. For example, when the LCD splicing screen with the best resolution is 1024×768, it only uses the 800×600 pixels in the middle to display the picture, and there are shadows around it. This method has a clear picture because the signal resolution also corresponds one by one, so the picture is clear. The only regret is that the picture is too small; the other is to expand the picture of 800×600 to a resolution of 1024×768 through calculation. Since the signal processed in this method does not correspond one by one to the pixel, although the picture is large, it is relatively blurry. No matter which display method is not ideal, so I highly recommend the recommended maximum resolution!

4: Avoid the LCD splicing screen working for a long time at full load

The LCD splicing screen works very easily overheats certain pixels (Pixel Dots) when working for a long time, and once it exceeds the limit, it will cause permanent damage. This forms what is often called "bad spots" (some media call "black spots"). Since the pixel dots of the LCD splicing screen are composed of liquid crystals, when working continuously for more than 96 hours, it will accelerate its aging and even burn out when it is severe. In view of this, if the user has to work for a long time, it is best to allow him to rest for a while, or often change the display content at different time intervals, at least when he is waiting to work, he should reduce the brightness, or operate in screen protection mode for a while. This simple task can not only delay the aging of the LCD screen, but also avoid hardware damage.

5: Pay attention to distinguishing the flickering phenomenon of LCD splicing screen

Occasional flickering is an inevitable situation during the imitation/digital conversion process. It is mainly due to the influence of the imitation signal output interface. For example, the clock and phase of the pixel will not be synchronized with the imitation signal output, which will also cause flickering. This phenomenon is usually called "Pixel Jitter". In order to solve this problem, there is generally an "automatic setting" function on the LCD splicing screen. Its function is to analyze the input signal and adjust the LCD splicing screen to the best state. It can also be adjusted by the two functions of phase (Phase) and clock (Clock). However, if it is regular flicker or flickering for unknown reasons, it needs to be checked. If the problem of poor cross-sectional contact is eliminated, it is that the LCD splicing screen itself has a fault.

6: To avoid strong shock in LCD display

The LCD display screen is very fragile and delicate, and has poor impact resistance. Even the latest products are still far less impact resistance than CRTLCD splicing screens. This is because LCDs contain many precision glass components and agile and delicate electrical components. Once they are hit hard, they will cause damage to the LCD screen and other related components. Therefore, it is necessary to avoid strong shocks. In addition, you should also pay attention not to put pressure on the surface of the LCD screen, such as pointing to a certain part of the screen with your finger (even a slight click may produce local bad points and severely formed a black spot). This can easily cause the number of bad points to increase, which is the important reason why some users will find more and more bad points after using them for a period of time. In this case, the user has no way to remedy it. Therefore, it is recommended that users develop good habits and not point fingers on the screen.

7: Do not assemble the LCD splicing screen by yourself when encountering problems

No matter what problems arise with LCD, it is prohibited to assemble LCD splicing screens by itself (especially for ordinary DIY interested people). Once the LCD splicing screen is suspected to be working abnormally, you can find the manufacturer to help solve it. Because LCDs are too sophisticated and too delicate (it doesn't allow parts to be replaced at will like ordinary CRTLCD splicing screens). Since the transformer in the LCD background lighting component may still have a high voltage of 1000V (albeit microcurrent) after a certain period of shutdown, it may cause new failures in the component if it is not handled well by professionals. In severe cases, the screen may permanently fail to work.

8: Methods to accurately remove dirt on the surface of LCD splicing screen

If dirt is found on the surface of the LCD splicing screen, the dirt should be removed using an accurate method. The medium used is preferably soft and non-fiber materials, such as degreased cotton, lens paper or soft cloth, and then gently wipe it off with a little glass cleaner. It is prohibited to use chemical solutions such as alcohol, and rough cloth or paper items should not be used, because such substances are prone to scratches. What I want to remind everyone here is not to spray the cleaning fluid directly onto the surface of the display screen. It can easily flow into the screen, causing short circuit failures inside the LCD screen, causing unnecessary losses.

9: Wetness is a taboo for LCD splicing screens

The internal design of the LCD splicing screen is very precise. Once the environment is oxidative corrosion caused by moisture, short circuit will cause huge economic losses to the user. Therefore, it is important not to let any liquid or moisture enter the LCD splicing screen, and avoid long-term use in humid environments. Of course, don't panic if this happens. For example, if you find moisture on the screen, you must gently wipe it with a soft cloth before turning on the power supply and work. If moisture has entered the LCD, the LCD must be placed in a well-ventilated or warm place to allow its moisture to evaporate. If the situation is more serious, ordinary users can ask professionals to help solve it. Remember not to power up the LCD when it is not driven away moisture, otherwise it will easily cause the LCD electrode to be corroded, which will cause permanent damage to the LCD.
