On April 24, according to HKC Huike, the company recently officially unveiled its 3.1-inch AR-HUD product to the global market. Key performance metrics-including color gamut, brightness, and transmittance-have achieved a quantum leap in improvement, delivering image quality comparable to that of OLED displays.
HKC's latest in-vehicle display product features the world's first Oxide technology, coupled with exclusive panel and backlight solutions, delivering a quantum leap in core performance. In terms of color gamut, it achieves an NTSC coverage of 116%-with color reproduction accuracy rivaling that of OLEDs-thereby meeting the high-saturation and high-fidelity demands of automotive environments. Regarding brightness, when paired with an RGB-Mini backlight, the peak brightness exceeds 15,000 nits; this ensures crystal-clear imagery under strong lighting conditions while providing a soft, comfortable display at night, maximizing visibility across all driving scenarios. As for light transmittance, the combination of high transparency and precise light control results in a vivid, lucid display that effectively resolves common issues associated with AR-HUD imaging, such as ghosting and blurring.

Furthermore, this product breaks through the limitations of traditional panel structures and manufacturing processes. Leveraging a customized RGB-Mini backlight tuning scheme, it achieves lower power consumption and extended operational longevity at equivalent brightness levels. This makes it perfectly suited to meet the rigorous low-power requirements of automotive applications, striking an optimal balance between superior performance and cost-efficiency.
HKC states that the newly unveiled 3.1-inch AR-HUD product-the company's first officially released HUD solution-marks a significant milestone in its strategic expansion within the in-vehicle display sector. It also signals HKC's formal entry into the core market segment for automotive AR-HUDs. Deeply customized for AR-HUD applications, this product integrates seamlessly with mainstream in-vehicle AR systems, presenting drivers with an immersive AR overlay of critical information-including navigation cues, vehicle status updates, and safety alerts-thereby comprehensively upgrading the intelligent driving experience.
