Shenzhen, June 5, 2026 - BOE (京东方) held the inauguration ceremony for its Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Product R&D and Customer Marketing Service Center (referred to as the "Greater Bay Area Center") in Qianhai, Shenzhen, under the theme "Connecting All Things with Displays, Setting Sail in the Bay Area." The event was accompanied by the opening of an Innovation Technology Experience Day.
More than 300 global key customers, core partners, and industry guests attended the ceremony, witnessing the unveiling of multiple joint laboratories and the opening of the new innovation technology exhibition hall.
The establishment of the Greater Bay Area Center in Shenzhen Qianhai marks a key strategic move for BOE to refine its global industrial footprint. It also serves as an important engine for the company to deeply integrate into the Greater Bay Area, empower regional industrial upgrading through its "Connecting All Things with Displays" strategy, and collaborate with customers and partners toward a shared digital future.

BOE CEO (Feng Qiang) stated: "The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is at the forefront of technological innovation. Here, we have built deep partnerships with numerous leading enterprises, and many innovative ideas are first realized. This fertile ground is the most important stage for BOE to achieve symbiotic and win-win growth with our customers. Facing a rapidly changing market, consumers and customers have higher expectations for product experience and service quality. To meet this, we will focus on three priorities: First, deepen customer orientation by moving services closer to the front line, establishing agile response mechanisms, and providing full-cycle delivery support from concept to mass production. Second, focus on technological innovation to drive growth and help customers build highly competitive product advantages. Third, jointly build a collaborative ecosystem, starting with joint laboratories, to achieve shared capability advancement, value creation, and outcome sharing."
Joint Laboratories: Deep Collaboration to Build a Shared Ecosystem
During the event, BOE unveiled joint laboratories with partners including Skyworth and vivo, signaling a new stage of deep collaboration in cutting-edge technology development, achievement transformation, and industrial co-creation.
BOE and Skyworth jointly inaugurated the "Aurora Joint Laboratory." The two companies will conduct comprehensive cooperation across three dimensions - product, technology, and marketing. Their joint R&D will focus on key technologies such as anti-glare and low-reflection, bezel-less designs, and eye-care health features. On the product side, they will launch UB Cell and ADS Pro+Mini LED display solutions, achieving breakthroughs in anti-glare, full-view image quality, four-sided bezel-less form factors, and circular polarization eye protection. In terms of industrial development, they will jointly promote UB Cell marketing and the release of ACR industry standards to build a healthy and standardized industry ecosystem.
Meanwhile, BOE and vivo officially unveiled the "Polaris Joint Laboratory." Leveraging their respective industry-leading strengths, the two sides will conduct in-depth joint R&D in frontier display technologies, product quality control, and user experience enhancement. They will establish rigorous product testing processes and streamline the entire product certification chain to support new product mass production and market launch. This partnership represents a significant upgrade in strategic cooperation and a key milestone in building a new industry ecosystem through cutting-edge technology.
Innovation Technology Exhibition Hall: Showcasing the "Connecting All Things with Displays" Technology Matrix
One of the highlights of the event was the opening of BOE's new Greater Bay Area Technology Exhibition Hall, which comprehensively displays the company's latest achievements and innovation capabilities in the display and Internet of Things (IoT) sectors.
The hall features innovative products powered by BOE's three major technology brands: ADS Pro, f-OLED, and α-MLED. The LCD zone highlights core technologies such as UB Cell, oxide, and natural light display. The OLED zone showcases flexible folding screens and mirror-like "seamless" flexible OLED displays. The MLED zone presents mainstream solutions including COG direct-view and ADS Pro+Mini LED.
In the AI+ All-Scenario Innovation zone, BOE demonstrates the deep integration of artificial intelligence with display and IoT industries, covering applications such as AI factories, AIGC content generation, and AI offices. In the sensing field, BOE's light curtain technology leads in automotive intelligent dimming and is expanding into rail transit, architectural daylighting curtain walls, consumer electronics, and other areas. The complete machine business zone attracted significant attention with high-end TVs, laptops, and various smart terminals.
Notably, guided by the "Nth Curve" theory, BOE is developing new growth curves in areas such as glass-based packaging, perovskite, smart automotive displays, and ULive ultra-high-definition technologies. Perovskite photovoltaic modules have refreshed four world records for efficiency and received authoritative certifications both domestically and internationally. The glass-based packaging substrate pilot line has been completed, with some products delivered to domestic customers for technical testing.
The exhibition hall will serve as a permanent venue open to Greater Bay Area customers, becoming a core platform for technology exchange and joint innovation.

Deep Roots in the Bay Area: Frontline Service and Long-term Commitment to Industrial Empowerment
The BOE Greater Bay Area Product R&D and Customer Marketing Service Center acts as a strategic stronghold for the company in the region. Integrating frontier technology R&D, innovative product showcases, full-process customer service, and industrial ecosystem collaboration, the center embeds BOE's core display and IoT technology capabilities directly into the regional innovation chain. This significantly shortens the distance from technology development to market response and enables "shoulder-to-shoulder" agile collaboration with customers.
From a regional perspective, BOE's deep layout will further strengthen the Greater Bay Area's voice in the global electronics information industry, promote efficient collaboration across the display panel, smart terminal, and IoT application chains, and help accelerate the development of the Greater Bay Area into a world-class electronics information and intelligent manufacturing industrial cluster.
From technological leadership to industrial empowerment, and from global expansion to deep cultivation in the Bay Area, BOE is using the new Greater Bay Area Center as a starting point to further enhance its regional innovation and market service capabilities. Going forward, BOE will continue to uphold its "Connecting All Things with Displays" strategy, collaborating with global partners through a more open ecosystem, cutting-edge technologies, and more efficient services to explore new development opportunities and contribute core strength to the high-quality development of the digital economy.
