February 23, 2026
TrendForce just released its latest panel price update for February, and the picture is mixed depending on the category: TV panels are still climbing, monitor panels are starting to edge up a bit, but notebook panels keep sliding.

TV Panels
Demand for TV panels held steady in February. Panel makers planned some production tweaks-shutting down lines for 5 to 7 days around Lunar New Year-which helped keep supply and demand pretty balanced. After the holiday break, neither buyers nor sellers seem eager for big price swings, so the upward trend is sticking around. Here's the expected price hikes for February:
- 32-inch, 43-inch, and 50-inch: up $1 each
- 55-inch: up $2
- 65-inch (stronger demand here): up $3
- 75-inch: up $2
Monitor (MNT) Panels
TV price increases are spilling over a little, and some brands are ordering more than expected. That's pushing monitor panel prices toward an upturn overall. For Open Cell panels, the rise has been building over the last month or two. In February:
- 23.8-inch FHD Open Cell: up about $0.3
- 27-inch FHD Open Cell: up about $0.2 Panel makers are also planning to pass increases on to module prices this month, with 23.8-inch FHD modules likely the first to go up by around $0.2.
Notebook (Laptop) Panels
This one's tougher. Rising prices for memory and other semiconductor stuff have notebook brands stocking up early to lock in supplies. But the market's still oversupplied, so brands are pushing hard for lower panel prices to offset those other cost hikes and keep their total BOM (bill of materials) in check. Panel makers don't want to lose orders or upset big customers, so they're softening their stance and letting prices drop. February looks like another month of broad declines:
- TN panels: down about $0.1
- IPS panels: down about $0.2
In short, TV and monitor panels are getting some relief from tighter supply and spillover effects, while notebooks are stuck in the oversupply rut with extra pressure from component costs. Typical post-holiday dynamics in the display world.
