Market research firm TrendForce reported that global OLED monitor shipments in the first quarter of 2026 fell 11% from the previous quarter but posted a strong 78% increase compared to the same period last year.

The quarterly decline was largely expected, as Q4 2025 was a promotional peak season during which brands had front-loaded shipments. The robust year-over-year growth was mainly fueled by steadily rising QD-OLED panel supply. With more panels available, both new entrants and established players were able to ramp up shipments and fill market gaps more quickly.

In terms of brand performance, ASUS retained the No.1 position with a 24% market share. The Taiwanese company continued to leverage its broad OLED portfolio, launching a 34-inch 360Hz gaming monitor and a new 16-inch portable OLED model during the quarter. These differentiated products helped solidify its leading position.

Samsung followed in second place with 16.4% share. Thanks to abundant in-house QD-OLED panel resources and its strong presence in the premium segment, Samsung maintained relatively solid shipments even in a seasonally weak quarter. Models such as its exclusive 27-inch QHD 180Hz monitor performed particularly well.

MSI ranked third with 12.2% market share, narrowly ahead of AOC/Philips at 12.1%. MSI benefited from stable performance of its 31.5-inch models while actively expanding into business and high-end gaming segments with new 27-inch UHD business displays and 34-inch 360Hz gaming monitors. AOC/Philips, on the other hand, focused on the core 27-inch QHD segment, using competitively priced entry-level models to drive volume and remains a strong contender for third place.

LG Electronics (LGE) placed fifth with a 9.1% share. The company introduced its exclusive 39-inch WUHD 165Hz OLED monitor in the first quarter, with meaningful shipments expected to begin in Q2. Ultra-wide products already accounted for 40% of LGE's Q1 shipments, a figure that is projected to rise toward 45% in the coming quarter as new models gain momentum.
