At the event, Richard Yu (Yu Chengdong), Huawei's Terminal BG Chairman, announced that the number of devices running their own HarmonyOS 6 has now surpassed 55 million. That's an increase of 23 million devices in less than six months - pretty impressive growth.

The star of the show was the new Huawei Pura 90 series, which includes the Pura 90, Pura 90 Pro, and Pura 90 Pro Max. They also unveiled a really interesting new device called the Pura X Max - Huawei's first horizontally wide foldable phone, which brings a fresh form factor for better productivity.

In addition to the phones, Huawei launched a bunch of other new products running the latest HarmonyOS 6.1, including smartwatches, AI glasses, new MateBook laptops, smart screens, and more - all aimed at creating a seamless full-scenario smart experience.

According to Richard Yu, the HarmonyOS 6 ecosystem is expanding quickly. It now supports over 350,000 apps and services, backed by more than 10 million registered developers. Daily new device activations are also steadily increasing.

All Pura 90 models come pre-installed with HarmonyOS 6.1 and bring upgrades in camera, performance, battery life, and AI features.
