On March 27, BOE and MGM showed up together at a big international art fair in Hong Kong. The thing everyone was talking about was this eye-catching "M"-shaped folding Mini LED screen they built together.
They made it fold into a giant "M" to match MGM's logo, and it looked really cool - not just another flat screen. It uses BOE's Mini LED tech, so the colors pop and the details are super sharp. They also added naked-eye 3D and 8K resolution, which made the images feel like they were jumping right out at you.
At the event, the screen played footage of rare artifacts from the "Silk Road" show at the Poly MGM Museum, plus some of the best bits from MGM's big show Macau 2049. A lot of people said it felt like the pictures were spilling off the screen, giving you that "you're really there" feeling.
BOE has been doing a lot of work in culture and arts lately. They've been the main tech supplier for the Poly MGM Museum, helping with high-end displays, sound systems, and everything else to make it a proper modern attraction. This Hong Kong appearance is just the latest part of their growing partnership.
They've also teamed up with the Palace Museum for years - things like the naked-eye 3D "Meet Your Forbidden City Colors" exhibit and the digital Qianlong Garden hall for the centennial show. They've run "Hello BOE" pop-up events in different cities, letting people get close to digital versions of the treasures. They even took Chinese intangible heritage exhibitions to Paris and Milan with Sunshine Media Group.
In China, BOE is setting up more digital art spaces and museums to bring all this tech together in real places.
Moving forward, BOE says they'll keep pushing their "Screen of Everything" approach, working with partners worldwide to expand the "Powered by BOE" idea. They want their screens to become the bridge between real life and imagination, and between the past and the future.
