Nowadays, LCD large LCD screens have become a commonly used design solution for indoor large screens. In addition to large screens, the entire LCD large screen system also includes some other equipment, such as signal sources, control systems, etc., thus forming a high-definition large screen display system.

According to current applications, there are basically three main parts of the composition of LCD large LCD screen, namely LCD large screen, central control equipment (four commonly used according to the purpose and function), and signal source (usually monitoring signals and computer signals). In addition, some equipment will be added according to specific needs. For example, when used in monitoring and display systems, hard disk recorders, switches and other equipment will be added. If wireless screen projection is required, special screen projection equipment will be used.

1. LCD large LCD screen

The LCD large LCD screen is the core part of the entire large screen system. It is mainly responsible for the output display of the screen, etc. Its single screen size is between 46 inches and 65 inches. It is spliced together by multiple screens to form a large screen. However, due to the composition of the LCD screen, it will have a bezel of several millimeters at the splicing, but the frames are large and small.

We can understand the LCD large screen as an amplified and spliced display. It is only responsible for displaying it, and it will display whatever signal it enters at the front end. Its feature is that it can be spliced at any size, and the image display is clear, which can achieve the effect of 4K high-definition display, and the brightness is moderate, which is suitable for long-term viewing. In addition, the LCD large LCD screen uses an industrial-grade LCD screen, so it can achieve the need for continuous startup of 24 hours a day.

2. Central control equipment

Since LCD large LCD screens are only used for display, in order to realize various display functions, they must also be implemented through central control devices. Generally, central control devices are located in the middle of large screens and signal sources, and are usually connected by HDMI high-definition lines, which are mainly used to control the display functions of the entire LCD large LCD screen system, such as displaying several images, single-screen segmentation when decoding videos, etc. Currently, there are four commonly used central control devices, namely distributor, matrix, decoder and image processor.

The distributor is mainly composed of HDMI interface, usually with one input and multiple outputs, such as 1 in and 4 out, 1 in and 16 out, etc. The so-called 1 in and 1 in and 16 out means that it can be connected to a computer at the front end, and 16 out means that it can be connected to 16 LCD large screens at the same time, thereby enlarging the image on a computer to 16 LCD large screens to display.

The matrix is also used to connect to the central control device of the computer, but it has multiple input interfaces, so it can be connected to multiple computers at the same time and output to the LCD LCD large screens in various places. Commonly used are 4-in-8-out matrix, 8-in-32-out, etc. The matrix is mainly used in LCD large screen systems with multiple computer inputs at the front end.

The decoder is also called a decoding matrix. It is a device that has both matrix functions and can decode and monitor images. It is usually connected to the switch and can decode the front-end monitoring image in real time and output it to the LCD LCD large screen to realize the functions of segmentation and display of the screen. It can realize up to 64-channel images in a single block screen, so it is mainly used in LCD large screen systems such as monitoring rooms.

The image processor is some comprehensive control equipment. It can mainly realize the centralized management and control of computers and monitoring pictures, and can realize the functions of roaming, superposition, picture-in-picture, etc., and is mainly used in the command center display system.

3. Signal source

The input end of the LCD large-screen system is the signal source, which is mainly responsible for the input of the screen. It is usually mainly based on monitoring signals and computer signals. The output device is real-time monitoring images or hard disk recorders and computers. Different types of signal sources determine the choice of central control equipment. If there is only computer signals, only a distributor or matrix is needed. If the monitoring signal is displayed, then central control equipment must be equipped with a decoder.
